Hello, and welcome to the grand opening of the AnnLee fan club!

Basically, AnnLee was a background extra in a Japanese manga; doomed to die withing the first few pages. No powers, no personality. No name.

That was until her copyright was purchased in 1999, by Pierre Huyghe and Philippe Parreno. They named her, cared for her, and now she lives. Other artists were allowed to use her, she has her own exhibition in the Tate Modern in London.
Now the copyright has been passed to AnnLee herself, releasing her from her fate.

This club is dedicated to preserving her memory for years to come! Please, this club is looking for members and fanart to get itself onto its feet. Fans welcome!

sure thing, and use both of them if you like. I'm actually planning on redrawing her soon with more detail, kind of contrary to how she was intended to be.

Did you actually draw the other two yourself? If not, would you feel like having your newer piece up instead? FanArt is always better than screenshots.

Everything in my gallery I've drawn or painted myself and as it happens the no ghost just a shell piece is hanging on my wall at home :) Is the quality poor on them then then? I can try and upload a higher rez version if so, though they are both drawn at 150dpi so if they look bad at that rez I'm not sure they will look any better.

Just let me know what you want and I'll try and do it for you :)
